its the march holidays, and i'll mostly be at home revising my work and enjoying the one week break. lessons have not started yet in NJC, there was only orientation and the annual road run. orientation in NJC was named 'Odyssey II- the njc adventure'. :) it was rather memorable, and i feel all of us had fun.

on the first day, there were a few administrative matters to settle, such as choosing our subject combination. (i'll be taking 4H2 subjects- math, chem, bio and geog. ) nevertheless, me and my OG got to know one another. there was michelle, teo guan, kee luy, joanna, gina, alan, fat, priscilla, sonia, sheryl etc. and our OGLs- nora, shermin and edmund! :)

we learnt 2 dances, both of which we had a male partner. it was quite awkward actually, because i didn't really know my OG mate whom i danced with. :D i loved the station games the most! we went to ten stations, where we competed with a different OG each time.

there were a few stations i remember vividly. :) one of them was Hydration, where we were given half a watermelon, and competed with another team, to see who could finish the watermelon faster. it was very hilarious, because we kept using our fingers to dig into the fruit and eat the flesh. the guys drank the juice haha! :)

another station was the Acid River, where we had to cross from one side of the river to another, using 3 cardboards. there was a slight twist to the game, that was, the addition of two handicaps. the handicaps- michelle and i, had to be carried from one side to the other. i was very embarrassed at that time, since i was neither very thin nor very small in build. :D alan had to piggy-back me, and i think it was difficult for him, though he crossed the river quite fast. i think that was the most embarrassing moment of the orientation! :)

on another note, i'm alright health-wise. :) i only have to take two puffs of the asthma preventer and nasal spray every morning, and i'll be okay. i'm sorry if i scared you with the x-ray scan, it was nothing actually. i'm still strong, ever ready to fight! :D
